Jack Paul Moffitt, 68, of Camp Verde, AZ died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Jack was born December 16, 1949, to Wilfred and Marylynn (Kemp) Moffitt in Des Moines and graduated from Dowling High School in 1968. He went on to serve as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, and enjoyed a long career as a carpenter and superintendent with Weitz. He is survived by sons: Jon, Michael (Katy), Matthew (Cassie); and seven grandchildren. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Michelle, and sister, Sandra. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 27, 2018, at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, IA at 2:00 p.m.
