A memorial for Mary Beth Strittmater (Beth Gobich-Harris) ‘68, will be held this Saturday, June 13, at 4:00 PM Central.
Beth Strittmatter (Gobich-Harris), 1968, lived a rich and meaningful life marked by faith, music, service, intellect, and love. A 40-year member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Seattle, she shared her voice in the Gospel Choir and found deep friendship in that beloved community.
Professionally, Beth built a successful career in insurance and also used her law degree to serve others with wisdom and compassion. One of the great joys of her life was becoming a mother when she adopted her son, Will Clark, at age 12.
She is predeceased by her husband of 15 years, John Harris. Beth passed away peacefully during dialysis on January 13, 2026, and her legacy lives on in the family she loved, the friends she cherished, and the many lives she touched.
June 13 would have been her 76th Birthday.
Friends, family, and classmates are encouraged to attend this virtual event. If you wish to participate with a short eulogy or song, please text Beth's sister, Catherine Strittmater (Jewel), at 512-632-5601.
